- Create a user profile and specify select sizing and watch preferences
- Choose a watch (or multiple watches) to lease
- Select a shipping option (standard or priority)
- Enjoy your watch for as long as you want
- When you are ready, return the leased watch at any UPS drop box or UPS Store location
- Select another watch to lease and enjoy

How many watches may I borrow at once?
Standard members are only allowed to lease one watch at a time. Members invited to the exclusive Connoisseur Club will be allowed to lease two watches at a time.

Do I need to become a member in order to lease a watch?
Yes, you must become a member for leasing privileges. As a member, you will have full access to our wide variety of luxury watches and receive discounts on watches purchased from our “Second Time Around” store. Non-members can purchase watches at any time from our “Second Time Around” store at the non-member price. If you are passionate about luxury watches and good value, membership is a natural choice.
How do I become a member?
To become a member of StealtheTime.com, you must register on our website and create a user profile. Choose a username and password, provide a major credit card number, shipping address, and your preferred length of membership. Complete your profile by answering questions regarding your wrist size, watch fitting preferences, and if you would like to receive email alerts of new products, sales, and exclusive promotions. Once your user profile is created, a confirmation email will automatically be generated and sent to your email account for validation. You will need to log back into StealtheTime.com to confirm your email. We aim to make your leasing experience as seamless as possible. Members have their preferences saved to their user profile to make for easy, enjoyable, and efficient future leasing!
How much does membership cost?
Members can choose from three convenient plans to receive all of the benefits of Steal the Time. The fees are a flat price for the selected period of membership. - One month for $9.95
- Three months for $24.95
- One-year for $94.95
What benefits do members enjoy?
Members have complete access to lease or purchase all watches at StealtheTime.com and receive a member discount in the “Second Time Around” store. Non-members cannot lease a luxury watch but may purchase one at the non-member price in the “Second Time Around” store. Additionally, members receive email updates of new product arrivals, email alerts when a favorite watch is available, alerts to special promotions and offers and the privilege to order watches outside of our inventory.
How do I cancel my membership?
You may cancel membership at anytime. There are no cancellation fees. Please call our customer service team at 1-866-740-0040 or email us at customerservice@stealthetime.com to discuss cancellation.

How long may I lease a watch?
Watches are leased from a minimum period of one week to as long as you desire. For example, if you elect to lease a watch for one month but decide to keep it for six months, we will automatically charge the credit card on your account for each month you have the watch on lease. Once the watch is returned - in good condition - the leasing fees will end.
How do I adjust the length of my lease?
You may change the term of your lease at anytime, it’s easy! - Sign into your account and go to the “My Wrist” page
- Locate the watch with the lease terms you would like to change
- Select the link "Switch to Monthly" (or "Switch to Weekly") for each item you'd like to change
If you prefer, you may contact Customer Service at customerservice@stealthetime.com or 1-866-740-0040. We'll be happy to make the adjustment for you. All changes will take place on the next scheduled renewal date.
You don’t carry the watch I want. Do you make special requests for watches?
Yes. Depending on the demand and availability of the watch you want, we can place special orders for our members on watches for lease and purchase. Please contact us at customerservice@stealthetime.com for more information.
When does my credit card get charged?
Initial membership dues are charged to the credit card you submitted when you completed your member profile. Subsequent dues are charged on the anniversary of enrollment. If your enrollment anniversary falls on the 29th, 30th or 31st of the month your future membership payments will be billed on the 28th of the subsequent months. For example, if you sign up on January 1st for a one-year membership, your credit card will be charged January 1st for $94.95 and one-year later on the following January 1st for membership renewal. If you sign up on January 31st for a one-year membership, your credit card will be charged January 31st for $94.95, and one-year later on the following January 28th for membership renewal.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. At this time we do not accept checks or money orders.
Are members required to give security deposits?
Yes. In an effort to protect all of our members from fraud and theft we require leasees to commit to a 20% security deposit of the watch’s retail value while it is out on lease. This amount will be added to your total cost at check-out. Once the watch is returned to us in good condition, we will refund your credit card for the full amount of the security deposit.

How do I know what watch size I wear?
Once you have chosen a watch to lease, you will be prompted to select your watch size.
Size your wrist with a measuring tape designed for tailoring (i.e. made of plastic, vinyl or cloth). If a tape measure is not available a shoelace (or other ribbon-like string) can be used, marked, and then measured with a ruler. This will ensure accurate sizing of your wrist band.
- Tightly wrap the measuring tape/string around your wrist.
- Record the measurement and add one half inch (½") to the measurement. This allowance will ensure a comfortable and balanced fit.
- For example: If your wrist circumference measures 7" inches then your watch size would be 7.5 inches after the ½" inch allowance.
- We will adjust the watchband prior to shipment so it arrives to you sized and ready to wear.
What if the watch doesn’t fit when it arrives?
If the watch does not fit upon arrival, please contact us at 1-866-740-0040 and we will make arrangements for you to exchange your watch. Please do not try to adjust the size of the watch on your own; specific tools and expert training are required to safely size and prevent damage to the watch. While the exchange is in progress your leasing fees will be suspended.
Is my watch water-resistant?
This feature will vary depending on the watch. Before getting your watch wet, please read the enclosed instructions to ensure proper wear and care during your lease period.
What if the battery dies?
We test all batteries before watches are shipped to our members. If the battery fails during the course of your lease, please contact us at 1-866-740-0040. We will make arrangements to replace the battery. Please do not try to replace the battery yourself or take the watch to a repair shop for any service. Specialized tools and expert training are required to replace the battery in a fine watch. While the replacement is in progress your leasing fees will be suspended.
We set the time based on the time zone of the mailing address you provided when you set up your account. We also include instructions with each watch on specialty functions and adjustments. What is Connoisseur Club?
Members who have leased with Steal the Time for a period of six months (one watch or various watches), will be invited to the Connoisseur Club. As a Connoisseur Club member, you will be approved to lease two watches at a time and receive additional promotional benefits, including special discounts that regular members cannot access.

Do you offer your watches for sale?
Yes. All our watches are available for purchase as long as they are in stock and not out on lease. Just click the "Buy Now" button and - in a few easy steps - the watch will be yours (at a price that Steals the Time!). If you are currently leasing a watch and have decided you would like to own, contact us at 1-866-740-0040 for a price quote. The purchase price is based on a combination of key features: condition, age, and replacement availability.
Do my rental fees go towards the purchase of a watch?
Yes. 50% of your rental fees may be applied towards the purchase of any watch in our inventory, for up to half of the “Steal the Time” price. For more information please contact customer service at customerservice@stealthetime.com.
Do you have an online outlet store?
Yes. Over time, some of our watches will be placed in our online outlet store. Members and customers will be able to purchase these watches at prices that, literally, Steal the Time!!

What if I accidentally scratch my watch?
We expect an amount of normal “wear and tear” to occur while the watch is being leased, and members will not be charged extra for returns received in reasonable condition. Members are liable for all damage beyond normal wear and tear and - in cases of severe damage, loss, or theft - the member will be responsible for the cost of repair and/or replacement. The cost of such repairs will be charged to the member’s credit card number held on file. In the event that the watch on lease is lost or stolen, the member’s credit card will be charged for the full replacement value.
Do you offer insurance for extended wear and tear?
Yes. When you select a watch for lease, you may purchase optional insurance to cover damage in the event of excessive wear and tear. This insurance does not include coverage for lost or stolen watches. Rates for this insurance supplement will be given at checkout (it may vary based on the particular watch) and - if a claim is submitted - a deductible will be charged to the credit card stored on your profile with Steal the Time. Deductibles range between $100 and $250 dollars per watch and are determined by the retail value of the watch in question.
Do you offer insurance for loss?
No. Members are responsible for excessive wear and tear, damage, theft, and loss. We anticipate watches to be returned with an acceptable degree of normal wear and tear; members will not be held liable for watches returned in such condition. If you elect to purchase the additional insurance when you lease, you will not be liable for excessive wear and tear or damage. The additional insurance is not intended to nor does it cover theft or loss.

We ship via insured UPS. Members will be charged a round trip shipping rate of $9.95 upon checkout. If you require your leased watch immediately, we offer options for faster delivery priced accordingly at check-out.
How long does it take for standard shipping?
We use standard UPS ground shipping, and watches typically reach their destination within 4-5 business days. If you need the watch sooner, we offer options for faster delivery.
Are the watches insured during shipping?
After the watches leave our warehouse, UPS delivers the parcel to your shipping address; an adult signature is required for delivery. All packages from UPS are insured during transit until they reach their destination.
How do I return my watch?
To return your watch, log into StealtheTime.com and access your account. Once you are logged into your account go to the “My Wrist” page and click on the “Return a Watch” button. - Select the watch(s) you need to return and we will email a return receipt and shipping label to your email address
- Once you receive the email, print the receipt and shipping label from your printer. You will need two boxes (one smaller than the other) and an adhesive clear envelope with which you may attach the shipping label (all of which are available free of charge at the UPS store or UPS distribution center)
- Place the return receipt inside the box with the watch to return
- Seal the package
- Place the sealed package inside another UPS box
- Seal the second box (you have to “double box” the item)
- Attach the shipping label to the outside of the outer box and drop off the package at any UPS drop box or UPS Store location (recommended)
- Once the package is scanned into the UPS system, we will be notified and leasing fees will be suspended. It’s that simple!
Can I return a watch that was purchased?
Yes. All purchases of products though our “Second Time Around” store are refundable within fifteen (15) days, and will result in a $100.00 restocking fee.
Does UPS allow you to track the package?
Yes. Once your package has left our warehouse and been picked up by UPS, the barcode will be scanned and we will send you an email confirming shipment. If you require additional tracking information please contact us at customerservice@stealthetime.com or 1-866-740-0040.
How long does it take to receive my watch after I submit an order?
After you submit your order, inventory is checked to confirm availability. Once the availability of your selection is confirmed your order will be processed (most orders are processed within 24 hours) and you should receive the watch via UPS within 4-5 business days. If you need the watch sooner you may select a different shipping option.

Are your watches originals or replicas?
All of our watches are 100% authentic; we do not lease or sell replica or fake watches. GUARANTEED
What condition are the watches in?
All of the watches available for lease or purchase are in new or like-new condition. Like-new condition means that the watch has been gently worn but is still in impeccable condition.
What happens when a watch is sold? Will it still be on your website?
No. Only watches available for lease or purchase will be listed on our website. If one of your favorite watches is no longer available on our website, please contact us at customerservice@stealthetime.com and we will do our best to acquire the watch.
Once a watch has been leased, members can join a wait list for that particular item. You can access your wait list at any time, and be on as many wait lists as you like.
